Who we are
Book2Board is published by Rhinolabs Agency LLC. Contact: hello@book2board.app. This policy applies to the Book2Board iOS and iPadOS app and to related pages on book2board.app.
What Book2Board is
Book2Board is available on the Apple App Store. You do not need a separate Book2Board account. PDF reading and Stockfish analysis run on your device.
Your library and iCloud
Book2Board syncs your PDFs through Apple’s iCloud using CloudKit. Sync requires you to be signed in to iCloud. Apple stores your synced PDFs. Rhinolabs does not store them on its servers. Stockfish analysis runs on your device.
When you contact support
We receive your email address and the information you choose to send, such as a description of the issue or an attachment. We use this information to respond to and manage your support request, not for advertising. Service providers that help us receive and manage requests may process this information for that purpose.
Support records and deletion
We retain support information only as long as needed to handle your request and necessary follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete information you sent to support by emailing hello@book2board.app. Copies you export and backups managed through Apple are separate from our support records.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy practices. We do not receive your payment card details.
Advertising and analytics
The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Information you send to support is handled separately as described in this policy.
Children
Book2Board does not require a profile or date of birth to study chess. Parents or guardians can contact hello@book2board.app about a child’s information sent to support. Please do not send children’s personal information or documents unless needed to resolve the request.
Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change. We will provide notice before material changes take effect and request consent where required by applicable law.
